Nychia is a luxury custom nail studio specializing in anatomically sculpted nails created from your personal nail impressions.
Unlike traditional press-on brands, Nychia does not rely on sizing kits, measuring tapes, or pre-manufactured nail blanks.
Each set is sculpted specifically for your nail anatomy using your archived master models, creating a personalized fit that is engineered exclusively for you. This is the only press-on with the actual appearance and feel of a salon set.
No two sets are alike because no two hands are alike.
📌 Are the designs shown on the website available for purchase?
Yes.
Every design displayed on the website is available for purchase.
You may:

• Request finish modifications
Every set is sculpted from your personal archived masters.
📌 Can I customize a design?
Absolutely.
Most Nychia designs can be customized.
Available modifications include:
• Colors

• Matte, gloss, chrome, pearl, or velvet effects

Whether you're inspired by fashion, artwork, jewelry, architecture, nature, another nail design, or an idea entirely your own, we'll work with you to create a handcrafted masterpiece tailored specifically to your unique nail anatomy and artistic preferences.
When placing your order, simply describe your vision in the Tell Us About Your Commission section. If you have inspiration links, paste them into your commission notes. If we need any additional information or reference images, we'll personally contact you before production begins.
I also think we should rethink the entire FAQ now that commissions are a product.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I request a completely custom set?
Absolutely. Every NYCHIA Custom Commission is created specifically for you. Describe your vision in your commission notes, and we'll guide you through the rest of the process.
Can I share inspiration?
Yes. If you have inspiration links, paste them directly into your commission notes. Inspiration may come from Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, another website, your own photos, fashion, artwork, jewelry, nature, or anywhere else your vision begins.
How is my commission priced?
Every Custom Commission begins with a Starting Price based on your selected shape and length.
After reviewing your requested artwork, specialty techniques, embellishments, and premium materials, we'll prepare a personalized quote for the artistic portion of your commission.
No additional charges will be applied without your approval.
What if I don't know exactly what I want?
That's perfectly fine. Even a simple idea, color palette, occasion, or inspiration photo is enough to begin the creative process. We'll work with you to refine your vision before production begins.
Will my commission be an exact copy of another design?
Inspiration is always welcome. Every commission is thoughtfully interpreted through the NYCHIA artistic style and tailored specifically to you. Designs that infringe upon copyrights, trademarks, or other protected intellectual property may be declined or modified.
What happens after I place my order?
We'll review your commission request and contact you if additional information is needed. Once your vision is finalized and any artwork quote is approved, your masterpiece will enter production.
📌 Do I need an Impression Kit?
For your First Nychia Order, yes.
Your first order includes:
• A Nychia Impression Kit
• Impression processing
• Creation of your personal master models
• Your nail set
• Permanent archiving of your nail profile
The Impression Kit is included in the pricing of your First Nychia Order and is not purchased separately.
Future orders do not require another impression process unless updated impressions become necessary.
📌 What are archived master models?
Archived master models are physical stone models created from your nail impressions.
They capture:
• Cuticle shape
• Sidewalls
• Nail curvature
• Nail width
• Nail architecture
These masters serve as the foundation for future Nychia creations.
Once your masters are archived, future sets can be sculpted without repeating the sizing process.
📌 How long are my masters kept on file?
Your archived masters are retained indefinitely as long as your nail anatomy remains substantially unchanged.
Updated impressions may be required if:
• Significant nail damage occurs
• Nail anatomy changes substantially
• Existing masters become damaged
• Updated impressions are necessary for accuracy
If updated impressions are required, a replacement Impression Kit will be included with a future order.
📌 What are Existing Nychia Client orders?
Once your impressions have been processed and your masters have been archived, you become an Existing Nychia Client.
Existing clients receive:
• Reduced pricing
• Faster production timelines
• No repeated impression process
• Access to future collections using archived masters
📌 How do I complete my impressions correctly?
Follow all instructions included with your Impression Kit.
Important guidelines:
• Press straight down
• Do not angle your fingers
• Keep natural nails short and clean
• Avoid moisture before impressions
• Follow all mixing and timing instructions
Clear impressions produce the most accurate results.
📌 How long does production take?
First Nychia Orders:
Approximately 7–14 business days after impressions are received and approved.
Existing Nychia Client Orders:
Approximately 5–10 business days depending on design complexity and current production schedule.
Couture and highly detailed designs may require additional production time.
Shipping time is separate from production time.
Every NYCHIA set is handcrafted specifically for your anatomy. Our estimated production time is 1-2 weeks, although many orders are completed sooner. Once your masterpiece is finished, it is carefully inspected, packaged, and shipped immediately.                Â

📌 Are Nychia nails reusable?
Yes.
With proper application, removal, and storage, Nychia nails can be worn multiple times.
Proper care helps preserve both the structure and artwork of your set.
📌 What adhesive should I use?
Nychia recommends professional nail adhesive.
Because your nails are sculpted specifically for your anatomy, only a thin layer of adhesive is typically required.
Always follow the Application & Removal Guide included with your order.
📌 Can someone else wear my Nychia nails?
No.
Nychia nails are created specifically for your anatomy.
Because they are sculpted from your personal nail impressions, they are not intended to fit another individual.
Each client requires their own archived masters.
📌 What if my nails don't fit?
Fit accuracy depends on the quality of the impressions provided.
If you experience a fit concern:
• Contact us immediately
• Provide photos of your natural nails
• Provide photos of the applied set
We will review the issue and determine the appropriate next steps.

Because all Nychia products are custom-made, all sales are final.
